A north-east ice cream producer has secured a £1 million order from a new distribution partner in China, marking the largest single order in its history. Mackie's of Scotland have announced a breakthrough export deal with China. “This partnership gives us a strong platform to grow from and demonstrates the appetite for high-quality, premium ice cream in global markets.” In Taiwan, Costco purchased more than one million litres of Mackie’s traditional ice cream last year, highlighting sustained demand in overseas markets. Initially selected to supply ice cream during the FIFA World Cup in Seoul, Mackie’s quickly gained popularity for its natural ingredients and distinctive creaminess.
