Hundreds of motorists have voiced their anger at town centre junction works in Nantwich which caused on their first day. Works started yesterday on upgrading the traffic lights at the junction of Waterlode, Welsh Row and High Street in Nantwich. According to Cheshire East Council, the works are set to last for more than two weeks until August 21st. Many have also questioned the works which involve the “replacement of traffic signals equipment and controller”One added: “These traffic lights were upgraded not long ago.” A new traffic lights system designed to improve flow at the busy junction was installed and switched on in September 2016.
