The Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy has granted a retail license to Elisenheim Property Development Company Limited (EPDC) and locally owned company, Petrosol Petroleum Solutions CC (Petrosol), for the planned Elisenheim service station. It will also address the services gap, since the nearest service station is located over seven kilometres away. Petrosol noted that it first identified Elisenheim as a strategic location for a retail service station several years ago, aligned with its broader vision to expand its presence in the Windhoek market and provide quality fuel and convenience services to growing communities. Johan Botes of Petrosol highlighted the positive impact the service station will have on the community. “A nearby service station is something you only stop taking for granted when you don’t have one.
