Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation to discuss bilateral relations and prospects for further cooperation. President Tokayev congratulated Pashinyan on his reappointment as Prime Minister of Armenia and wished him success for the benefit of Armenia and its people. The Prime Minister also wished Tokayev success in the Kurultai elections scheduled for August 23, highlighting the strategic importance and consistency of the Kazakh President’s domestic and foreign policies. During the conversation, Pashinyan invited Tokayev to pay an official visit to Armenia. The two leaders also discussed a range of issues on the Armenia-Kazakhstan bilateral agenda and exchanged views on prospects for further expanding cooperation between the two countries.
