The fifth annual Carleen Tea Treat will take place on Saturday, August 8, in and around Carleen Village Hall and Trew Green, beginning at 2pm, and promising a full afternoon of family fun. A musical procession led by West Cornwall choir leader Pip Wright will start from the hall, with children and adults carrying handmade flags created by local primary schools. The procession will end at Trew Green, where participants can join the lively Serpent Dance before enjoying country fair games and a magic show. Guests will return to the village hall for an afternoon tea featuring homemade cakes, traditional saffron buns, and a concert by the Breage Silver Band. Prize-giving for games and flag entries will take place at 5pm.
