Putman will present statewide results from the Texas Financial Crimes Intelligence Center, a joint initiative between the Smith County District Attorney’s Office and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Beckett, the Texas field director for Citizens for Renewing America, will outline opposition to FLOCK license plate cameras over concerns that mass-movement databases allow federal agencies access without judicial oversight.
The meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Tyler – Convention Center, located at 5701 S. Broadway, Tyler.
There is no fee needed to attend, and registration and membership are not required.
The group encourages dining to help support a locally owned business and local jobs.
