Putman will present statewide results from the Texas Financial Crimes Intelligence Center, a joint initiative between the Smith County District Attorney’s Office and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Beckett, the Texas field director for Citizens for Renewing America, will outline opposition to FLOCK license plate cameras over concerns that mass-movement databases allow federal agencies access without judicial oversight.
