Baton Rouge, LA - "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Sherrie was born November 14, 1953 in Baton Rouge, LA where she lived for 72 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Woodrow Badie, her children Jaimie Badie, Esther Badie, Deborah Badie, and Jacob Badie, bonus son LaWoodrow Badie, bonus daughter Carlisa Brooks, grandson Camdyn Badie, brother Kenneth Dixon, and a host of neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Soforia Dixon, brother Willie Dixon Jr., sister Joyce Flowers, son Jeremy Nelson Badie, and nephews Darryl Jack and Rodney Jack. Services will be held August 7, 2026 at Hall Davis and Sons, 9384 Scenic Hwy, Baton Rouge.
