Approximately at 8am, the building was cleared after a fire alarm was activated.
A spokesperson from West Yorkshire Combined Authority, which operates the interchange, reported: "A minor gas leak was identified at Bradford Interchange this morning.
We moved quickly to evacuate the building to ensure the safety of passengers and staff."
The situation was quickly resolved, and the interchange reopened just over an hour later.
Just after noon, a spokesperson for Northern said, "Disruption caused by the fire alarm sounding at a station at Bradford Interchange has now ended.
