The wards will form part of a hospital redevelopment project underway in Bradford. Lynfield Mount Hospital, which serves people in Bradford, Keighley, Airedale, Wharfedale, and Craven, is undergoing a £65 million redevelopment to improve facilities and patient care. Excitement for new wardsLouise Rigg, project director for the Lynfield Mount Hospital redevelopment, said: “When choosing the names for the new wards, we wanted something that highlights the redevelopment’s focus on recovery and wellbeing. The new modular ward block is expected to be completed by autumn 2027, with the full redevelopment project scheduled for completion by spring 2029. Lynfield Mount Hospital is operated by Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust and provides specialist mental health support.
