GRAND FORKS — Grand Forks Central head coach Grant Paranica, who won six North Dakota state boys hockey championships in 13 years leading the Knights, has resigned, the school announced Monday. "I am fortunate to have worked with so many great young athletes, and especially happy for those who have furthered their hockey careers beyond Central," Paranica said. Paranica was an assistant coach for the Knights for eight seasons before becoming head coach. In 2013, Paranica took over the Knights' program from Bina, who was head coach for eight years.
