A SCOTTISH researcher has been recognised internationally for work exploring how forests can support communities. Professor Maria Nijnik, a senior researcher at The James Hutton Institute, has received the International Union of Forest Research Organizations’ (IUFRO) Distinguished Service Award for her contribution to sustainable forestry research.
