Northwestern Memorial and Rush University Medical Center both made the publication's Honor Roll, which recognizes the country's top-performing hospitals. WATCH HERE WATCH HEREThe "Best Hospitals" list, released Tuesday, evaluated nearly 4,500 hospitals around the nation across 14 specialties and data points like patient care, patient outcomes, patient experience, staffing and more. Chicago also ranked near the top nationally, with 20 hospitals earning "Best Regional Hospital" honors for providing care to underserved patients. Across the country, just 504 hospitals of the thousands evaluated made the "Best Regional Hospitals" list. In Illinois, nine of the best regional hospitals were nationally ranked.
