Hockley Primary School on Chevening Gardens in Hockley, Rochford, was shut for several months in 2023 after large amounts of reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) were found in the building. The surrounding playing fields, which are currently being used for the temporary school, will then return to their original use.
