Irvine-based medical device company Masimo on Monday announced the appointment of Tim Benner as president.
Benner assumes the role after the departure of Katie Szyman, who led Masimo through its $9.9 billion acquisition by Danaher before stepping down as chief executive.
He previously served as chief commercial officer and joined the company in 2025 as chief marketing and strategy officer.
The same day Benner’s appointment was announced, Danaher named Julie Sawyer Montgomery its next CEO and president, effective Oct. 1.
Montgomery succeeds Rainer Blair, who will retire and serve as a senior advisor until March 31, 2027.
