Share this story:Dear editor, Attendees at the city council meeting on July 6 witnessed seven councillors refuse to second a motion by Coun. When the mayor asked if there was a seconder for the motion they all looked down at their screens and the motion died. Young could have seconded the motion and made his position clear during debate, as well as told us why he doesn’t support the motion, but chose otherwise. Perhaps during the moment of reflection at the beginning of the next meeting they could reflect on that.
