What matters is this: I vowed then and there to write this article, and to campaign to bring salmon farming to every fjord in this country.
First of all, you need a populated fjord, as you’ll need workers to manage your fish.
They say that the selectively bred Norwegian salmon we use (which grow so large and juicy, so quickly) have a tendency to escape and interbreed with local salmon stock.
They whinge that sea lice attach themselves to the salmon in the snug quarters of their sea cages.
When we then use pesticides to kill the sea lice, they complain that it kills other crustaceans as well, not just the lice!
