Luke Larcombe's pet Tiko was discovered by an SSPCA inspector at his home in Glasgow's Springburn on December 19, 2024. Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that the SSPA received a report about a dog being at the property. An inspector went for an initial visit and was told by Larcombe that he did not own a dog. "The dog was heard barking from a closed cupboard." Larcombe told the inspector that he had "no money" to treat the dog.
