Drunk thug tried to nab World Cup trophy from Rutherglen shop before launching attack

Prosecutor Rachel Pollock said: "Thomson told Mr Akhtar that he was going to get the World Cup trophy that was on display.
Miss Pollock added: "Thomson then punched Mr Akhtar twice to the face and struck him to the body with a brush."
Thomson pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner towards Mr Akhtar and Mr Mooney.
She also ordered Thomson to pay Mr Akhtar and Mr Mooney £500 each in compensation.
Drunk Thomson struck her to the head, hand, wrist, and to the stomach.
