- Patricia David is secretary of Unions Shoalhaven which has led the community campaign for the upgrade of the Kiama-Bomaderry rail line since 2017, including presenting a petition of more than 10,000 signatures to the NSW Parliament, organising community rail forums across the South Coast with the South Coast Labour Council and the RTBU, and advocating for the project to be recognised as a regional infrastructure priority and included on the national infrastructure agenda. Unions Shoalhaven believes that reliable, modern rail infrastructure is essential to the future prosperity, liveability and economic growth of the Shoalhaven and the broader South Coast.
