Xbox hardware now costs a lot more in the UK and Europe

Xbox has confirmed how console price hikes announced in June will impact consumers in the United Kingdom and Europe.
We already knew the cost of Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X hardware would increase by $100 and $150 in the United States, but Microsoft neglected to explain how pricing would be adjusted in other key markets as of August 1, 2026.
As noted on the ResetEra forum (and the official Xbox website), customers in the UK and Europe will now be expected to pay up to 50 percent more for select hardware—depending on whether they opt to purchase the lower-end Xbox Series S or premium Xbox Series X.
As noted in the table below, pricing will also vary depending on the storage option selected.
