The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday berated a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bode George for describing himself as a founding father of the party. Wike said George claims to be a founding father of the party but PDP has failed to win any election in Lagos State since 1999. According to Wike: “The same Bode George who was the founding father of PDP since 1999, the conscience of the party; what conscience does he have that since 1999 the party has not won one seat? You are not founding father but using the structure of people in other states. Nothing, yet you are a founding father, you don’t answer founding father by mouth.
