CorrespondentIMPHAL, AUG 3: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Monday reiterated that his government will not compromise in its efforts to restore peace and normalcy in the state. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said, “Restoring peace remains the government’s foremost priority and there will be no compromise in ensuring justice and taking action against those responsible for crimes.” Reiterating his government’s commitment, Singh appealed to citizens to cooperate in rebuilding trust and restoring peace, which he said is essential for achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. During the programme, the Chief Minister presented the Universal Peace Ambassador Award to Rajyogini BK Nilima, In-charge of Brahma Kumaris, Manipur, in recognition of her contributions to spiritual service and social welfare. State Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam and Dr. Jugindro Sorokhaibam, Director of State Medical Services, were among those present at the event.
