NEW DELHI, AUG 3 (PTI): Chief of Defence Staff Gen N S Raja Subramani on Monday addressed military officers attending a tri-service future warfare course here and emphasised the importance of anticipating future security challenges and developing the ability to respond effectively across multiple operational domains. Conducted by the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS), the four-week course brings together officers from the three services along with representatives from the government, industry, academia and strategic institutions. The fourth edition of the Tri-service Future Warfare Course commenced at the Manekshaw Centre, with the CDS delivering the keynote address at the inaugural session. He emphasised the importance of anticipating future security challenges and developing the ability to respond effectively across multiple operational domains. The CDS highlighted the increasing role of artificial intelligence, cyber capabilities, autonomous systems, information warfare, space technologies and data-driven decision-making in shaping future conflicts.
