The Shreveport Police arrested a man Sunday after he allegedly threatened to open fire outside a crowded downtown venue and violently resisted Police. South allegedly placed his hand inside the waistband of his pants, appeared to clutch an unknown object, and stated, “I’m about to shoot this bitch up.” Police believed South could be armed and that an active-shooter situation might be imminent, and SPD Officers immediately intervened.
