Last month, Microsoft announced Xbox Backward Compatibility on PC, a programme which allows gamers to play classic Xbox titles across PC and handhelds.
According to a report by The Verge, Microsoft is planning to bring Xbox 360 games to PC as well.
As per the paperwork, developers will have the option to make their Xbox 360 games backward compatible, allowing them to run on the upcoming Project Helix console, as well as other devices including handhelds and PCs.
That said, data miners quickly discovered that the company is essentially using an Xbox 360 emulator for the feature, so running Xbox 360 games isn’t too far ahead.
The company previously revealed that Project Helix will be able to run PC games, and making its Xbox titles available on PC will help keep its catalogue accessible.
