Bill payment solution provider Paymentus posted record revenue in the second quarter as service providers sought to secure customer loyalty by providing a satisfying billing experience, Paymentus Founder and CEO Dushyant Sharma said during a Monday (Aug. 3) earnings call. The research also found that billing and payment experiences impact service providers’ cash flows, because customers who are dissatisfied with the billing experience choose to delay payments, Sharma said. During the quarter ended June 30, Paymentus’ revenue grew 28.8% year over year to reach a record $360.7 million, according to a Monday press release. Paymentus’ revenue gains were driven by increased billers and transactions. With strong booking and a backlog quarter, Paymentus raised the midpoint of its revenue guidance for fiscal year 2026 by 1.3%, per the presentation.
