KUALA LUMPUR : Four subsidiaries of United Malayan Land Bhd (UMLand) have withdrawn their application for leave to commence judicial review proceedings after the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) revoked seizure orders involving 192 parcels of land in Johor.
The four companies – Tentu Teguh Sdn Bhd, Viridea Lakeside Sdn Bhd, Exquisite Mode Sdn Bhd and UMLand Medini Lakeside Development Sdn Bhd – filed the application for leave to commence judicial review proceedings on July 10.
The companies sought an order to quash the seizure orders dated May 25, 2026, issued under Section 51(1) of Amla.
They also sought a mandamus order compelling the respondents to cancel the seizure orders and remove the registrar’s caveats registered on the affected properties.
The affidavit further claimed that the seizure orders had caused the companies “serious commercial prejudice”.
