Ex-1MDB chairman Irwan Serigar Abdullah had brought in former directors Kamal Ali and Norazman Ayob, as well as former chief financial officer Azmi Tahir as third parties in 1MDB’s US$6.59 billion civil suit against him.
She said they were involved in the decisions and transactions now being challenged by 1MDB.
Lavinia submitted that Kamal and Norazman should share responsibility because the alleged failures arose from collective 1MDB board decisions made between May 2016 and May 2018.
Irwan has brought in Kamal, Norazman and Azmi as third parties in 1MDB’s US$6.59 billion (RM28.56 billion) civil suit against him.
Lawyers for Kamal, Norazman and Azmi are expected to present their submissions in reply tomorrow.
