HIBBING — Hospitals aren’t typically where students want to spend their summers, but more than 20 middle schoolers spent a Thursday in July at Fairview Range Medical Center, learning about healthcare careers and hospital operations. The camp was arranged in partnership with Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing and Wilderness Health, a collaborative of independent providers. Over seven hours, students took part in interactive workshops, learned from healthcare professionals and toured the medical center.
