Clackmannan Development Trust (CDT) has added a special three-wheeled side-by-side bike to its fleet, offering a comfortable and accessible cycling experience for users of all ages and abilities. The new addition was inspired by John Fyall, a gentleman in his 90s who contacted the trust in the hope of cycling again. "On our first cycle on the Dunfermline cycle path, we passed the old brickworks in Clackmannan where he also used to work. When John found pedalling a tricycle difficult, the trust borrowed a side-by-side bike from Recyke-a-Bike and later secured funding to purchase one of their own. The trust already has a couple of volunteer pilots, who are also experienced Trishaw pilots with Cycling Without Age Scotland.
