The Clackmannanshire Economic Regeneration Trust (CERT) is appealing for support to help residents access essential appointments through its community transport scheme. Journeys commonly include regular weekly trips to the Beatson’s Cancer Hospital, lunch clubs for older people, and GP or dental appointments. A CERT spokesperson said: "Our drivers play a crucial role in supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community. "Whether it’s a hospital appointment or simply getting to a lunch club for some company, every journey makes a real difference." Drivers are reimbursed at 55p per mile to cover fuel costs and can choose flexible hours to suit their schedules.
