BCWS fire information officer Karley Desrosiers said the Pear Lake wildfire has seen elevated fire behaviour for several consecutive days. The Pear Lake wildfire was mapped at 115,437.59 hectares on Sunday following an updated tracking. Desrosiers said the Pear Lake wildfire has nearly merged with the 4,577-hectare Rim Lake wildfire east of Highway 97.
