The RCMP Musical Ride will stop in Barriere later this month for an evening of precision horsemanship and family entertainment. The Musical Ride features up to 32 RCMP officers and horses performing cavalry drills and formations choreographed to music. “We are incredibly excited to welcome the RCMP Musical Ride to Barriere,” the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association said in announcing the event. The RCMP Musical Ride is touring through B.C., with shows in Armstrong on Aug. 15 and Aug. 16, and in Merritt on Aug. 26.
