Sarah Van Wilgenburg. Van Wilgenburg said the individual told police that they were concerned a neighbour had been feeding raccoons, and wanted this to stop in order to prevent future incidents. “Police advised the individual to report the matter to the BC Conservation Officer Service, as feeding wildlife is prohibited under provincial legislation,” Van Wilgenburg said.
