The Point, which opened in 1996, has been a hub for artists, families, and young people, presenting a broad range of activities and performances. The anniversary year, themed '30 events for 30 years', has brought together theatre, dance, comedy, and more, with highlights such as Pop Up Unwrapped, Summer Social Friday evenings, and local poetry readings. The free, all-ages event will feature behind-the-scenes tours, youth theatre and dance sessions, a makers market, and live performances on the Garden Stage. Visitors can also meet sustainable businesses and enjoy Hoglets Theatre’s The Tale of the Loneliest Whale in the Studio Theatre. The Point remains a key part of the Eastleigh community, continuing to nurture artists and inspire future generations.
