Abby Fleming created a sculptural piece that helped her earn a first-class degree from Southampton Solent University. Her project, titled Little Miss Manor, is a handcrafted dollhouse inhabited by lifelike prosthetic limbs and explores themes of nostalgia, transition, and the emotional complexities of leaving the family home. Emerging from the dollhouse are prosthetic limbs made from silicone and soft foam, created using professional special effects techniques. Lottie Carr, lecturer for BA (Hons) Prosthetics and Special Effects Design, praised the work. She said: "We have had some outstanding work this year on the Prosthetics and Special Effects course, much of it delightfully gory and full of attention to detail.
