Glenn Hoddle, who managed Saints and England during his glittering career, will be heading to The Concorde Club in Eastleigh this autumn for an evening with event.
As a manager, he led Swindon to the Premier League, took Chelsea to an FA Cup final, and guided England to the 1998 World Cup knockout stage.
He became Southampton manager in January 2000 keeping the Saints in the Premier League with a 15th-place finish, but left in March 2001 to return to Tottenham as manager.
He was saved by the actions of an employee at BT Sport who knew how to use a defibrillator.
Since his retirement from coaching, Hoddle has worked as a pundit for ESPN, ITV Sport and BT Sport, commentating on World and Euro Cups.
