The campaign calls for urgent reforms to protect victims of repeat violent offenders and has already gathered support from survivors across the UK.

Beyond the Sentence UK is calling for a review of early release decisions, improved victim protection and better management of repeat violent offenders.

I’m proud of the progress made by the last Conservative Government from including domestic abuse within the definition of serious violence, to measures giving victims more time to report crime, and passing the Domestic Abuse Act to strengthen support for victims.
