Back home in the constituency, I’m very excited to be spending my summer out and about catching up with all of you, and I’ll still be hosting regular surgeries up and down Newport West and Islwyn to help with any issues you may have. My street in Newport recently had an issue which required the help of South Wales Fire and Rescue Service. This is just one of many reasons why we need a different solution to congestion on the M4. I would also like to invite you to commemorate Hiroshima Day on Thursday, August 6, next to the lake in Tredegar House at 6pm. Ruth Jones is the member of Parliament for Newport West and Islwyn.
