Mrs Fookes believes that charities that deal with mental health crisis in men and boys must be involved in the coalition in order to help tackle violence against women in the UK.
The End Violence Against Women Coalition (EVAW) actively lobbies the UK Parliament to reform social, legislative, and political systems that tolerate violence against women and girls (VAWG).
Speaking Westminster Mrs Fookes said: “It was a real pleasure to chair a packed panel in Parliament with the End Violence Against Women Coalition (EVAW) and Beyond Equality.
“But we know that to combat VAWG we must involve boys and men too.
“And we know that men and boys have a crisis of mental health.”
