The Winton Salvation Army is inviting residents to 'Travel the World' this August at its community centre, with themed events offering a taste of Spain, Italy, and the USA, along with a global quiz and activities for all ages. Tina Shave, community centre manager, said: "We want to offer something to our local community that enhances all aspects of life. "Winton Salvation Army aims to be the place for everyone to come and feel like they belong." The programme concludes on August 26, with assorted world food from 3pm to 6pm and a World Quiz from 6pm to 7.30pm.
