Dorset-based recycled plastics manufacturer Brothers Make has partnered with sustainable sports start-up company CRACK’D to recycle old plastic pickleballs, which are commonly discarded once damaged. Millie Smythe, founder of CRACK’D, said: "Once I started playing competitively, I couldn't ignore how many broken balls were being thrown away. Dorset-based recycled plastics manufacturer Brothers Make has partnered with sustainable sports start-up company CRACK’D to recycle old plastic pickleballs, which are commonly discarded once damaged. "The balls become new products, and those products have been designed so they can be recycled again in the future. Clubs and players can donate used pickleballs by visiting the CRACK'D website.
