At St Osmonds Church, The Street, Melbury Osmond, application P/FUL/2026/04053 proposes a new shed within the church grounds, already in place – a similar application was recently refused by Dorset Council at Winterbourne Abbas.
The application says the shed (pictured), on un-consecrated land to the southwest, is not visible from the Grade 1 listed church.
At Home Farm, Dorchester Road, Winfrith Newburgh, a two-storey rear extension, package treatment plant, and solar panels are proposed under application P/HOU/2026/03044.
In Broadmayne, at Nightingale, 3 Holcombe Valley Cottages, application P/HOU/2026/03047 proposes a single-storey flat roof extension to the front and side, with a balcony above the side extension.
In Crawthorne, application P/HOU/2026/03794 seeks permission at Ashbank, Jock’s Hill, for a detached multi-port garage with a first-floor workshop.
