Man Arrested After Taking 3 Crabs From Private FishpondA 24-year-old man was arrested in Binmaley, Pangasinan after he was allegedly caught taking three crabs from a private fishpond. During the inspection, the owner reportedly noticed a young man leaving the fishpond while carrying several crabs. Upon checking, it was discovered that he was carrying three crabs that allegedly came from the fishpond without permission. Authorities said the fishpond owner carried out a citizen’s arrest after catching the suspect in the act. Authorities also encouraged fishpond owners and other property owners to remain vigilant in protecting their livelihoods, especially as aquaculture products such as crabs can become targets of theft.
