Mr. James Wade Fortner, 68, of Trion, Georgia, passed away on August 1, 2026, in a Rome hospital. Born on February 20, 1958, in Trion Hospital, Wade was the beloved son of Nadine Henderson Fortner and the late R. Dural Fortner. Wade embraced life with style, enjoying the finer things, from driving sports cars to relaxing by the beach. He was preceded in death by his life partner, James “Buddy” Floyd; his father, R. Dural Fortner; and grandparents Tommy and Eva Mae Henderson, along with Leon and Kate Fortner. Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to serve the family of Mr. James Wade Fortner.
