Mr. Oduro Yeboah made the call at a durbar organised by the Volta Regional branch of the Union of Professional Nurses and Midwives, Ghana, in Ho. It brought together nurses, midwives and other stakeholders to discuss challenges confronting the profession and explore practical solutions to improve healthcare delivery. She acknowledged the invaluable role played by nurses and midwives in ensuring that essential health services remained available despite the challenges and praised their commitment to the welfare of patients. She however urged nurses and midwives to continue upholding the highest standards of professionalism, teamwork and compassionate patient care as they discharge their responsibilities.
