ALBUQUERQUE N.M. – To beat the heat, the City of Albuquerque’s Parks & Recreation Department will turn on sprinklers at parks throughout the city this week as temperatures are expected to reach 100 degrees or higher. The city will rotate sprinkler use through four groups of neighborhood parks. Sprinklers will run from 1 to 1:30 p.m. each day at the following locations:Tuesday, Aug. 4Ventana Ranch Park – 10000 Universe Blvd. NWAlamosa Park – 1100 Bataan Dr. SWChelwood Park – 13205 San Juan Ave. NE4-H Park – 1401 Menaul Blvd. NWLoma Del Norte Park – 7511 Burke St. NESinging Arrow Park – 12929 Piru Blvd.
