ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A 17-year-old faces charges after deputies said he hit and killed a man in a crosswalk on the city’s west side and drove away. The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office said this happened around 9 p.m. Monday at Coors and Sage. Deputies said a man was walking across the road in the crosswalk when a car hit him and killed him. The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office said deputies found the car a short time later. The teenager now faces charges of homicide by vehicle and leaving the scene of the crash.
