ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – For some they may be a nuisance, but for one Albuquerque woman, she sees sick and injured pigeons as creatures in need of care. Kat Abraham runs Pigeon Pals Rescue in northwest Albuquerque, where she cares for dozens of sick and injured birds. Some birds are blind, while others have broken bones or are severely malnourished.
