During World Breastfeeding Week, Momcozy Highlights Support That Lasts Beyond One WeekAs World Breastfeeding Week (August 1–7) begins, this year’s campaign serves as a call to action to strengthen the support families receive throughout their breastfeeding journey. This year’s World Breastfeeding Week theme, “Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works,” introduced by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA), highlights the importance of protecting the people, resources, and systems that help families breastfeed.
That message is reflected in Momcozy’s 600 Hours of Support Initiative, a year-long commitment to expanding access to breastfeeding support through expert guidance, education, and community resources.
The initiative begins with The Lactation Line, a free 24/7 breastfeeding support service available from August 1-14 during World Breastfeeding Week and National Breastfeeding Month, connecting parents with certified International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLSs) by phone, live chat, and email.
In addition to resources such as the Mama Registry and 24/7 Lactation Line, Momcozy is dedicated to bringing trusted support and service to great lengths after World Breastfeeding Week, because the need for breastfeeding support doesn’t end when the campaign does.
World Breastfeeding Week may last seven days, but families deserve support every day.
